What does it mean to be in your twenties? As I turn twenty 2 years ago, I felt overwhelmed. Believing that 20 was so far away, there are goals that I must reach and accomplish. I thought 'oh it's time for me to be matured'. But as life goes on, I don't feel like I achieved anything in my 20s. 'I need to succeed now' - well, that's not the case. 20s is just another period of life. The world force you to set a certain goal for a specific period, but actually we are all different. We all have our own timing, talent, and skills. In simple words, we are all running our own race. Don't stop now. Be bold. Take more chances. The best is yet to come. --- A special thank you for all of the people in their 20s that participate in this short film.

BREATHE is a short film that I made for #twelvefilms which I was chosen as one of the semi-finalists from a total of 500 video entries around the world. A short film that might be understood as simple as the cries for fresh air during this lockdown period. Though it might not that apparent, this film is made with a deeper meaning of life beyond the COVID19 situation. The competition was a unique experience where everyone only has 24 hours to shoot and edit the video. Production starts at 10AM GMT on Friday 17th April 2020 [which is 8PM in Melbourne time]. So everyone has to shoot the same hour wherever they are.

I wonder what I can do with my skills to contribute to society during this pandemic time, I hope this can be a good campaign to raise awareness of the current situation in Indonesia. Although I've spent the last of my 6 years living in Australia, my heart always longs for my country Indonesia. I believe each one of us can contribute to society by doing our part. #dirumahaja because staying at home doesn’t mean you can’t be productive!

Sometimes, life is better when it is simple - a Black and White. Why would you spend so much time for people, dream, and power, when you know they will disappoint you at the end of the day? I guess, that’s just life. You get hurt, you stand up and learn from it. That’s what you called ‘PROCESS’. tho sometimes hurts, the journey is all that matters; and that is the beauty of life.

Dream has two different meaning: (1) a series of thoughts, images, and sensation occurring in a person's mind during sleep; or (2) a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal. They indeed are different in nature, as one come unconsciously while the other is not. One will have its own resolution of the story, but the other one will need faith, courage, and commitment. Though they are different, one thing is the same: Wake up. Take the step. When one can’t even protect their own peace, then how can they stand up for other’s? They are reluctant to stand up for peace because of their own pain; while actually by standing up for peace, there is where you find your own. The hardest part is the first step, and the rest will unfold by itself.

"It is not enough to be busy. The question is: what are we busy about?" Life is a choice. Happiness or sadness is the result of that choice. With time wasted can't be repeated, what do you reckon your life look like when you make the right choice? But again, it indeed is one of the unanswered questions of life: how can you decide which choice is right for you?

'Stand up for peace' is often associated with an external relationship - standing up for the right thing, making the world better. This is NOT WRONG. But seeing through a different lens, it can also mean acquiring internal peace. For whatever reasons we often forget or reluctant to ask 'AM I OKAY?'. Peace is not defined by what you have. Obtaining internal peace does not necessarily mean no more problems, but it is the ability to feel that you are okay even though you are still facing the difficulty. One way to achieve this I believe is through prayer, which is portrayed in the film.
